Website analytics privacy
How we measure visits to our public website, and how you stay in control.
Public website measurement
burnWorks uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits to public pages, including pages viewed, session activity, device and browser information, and approximate location. Google receives network information needed to deliver this service. Analytics cookies distinguish visits and are configured with a 180-day lifetime.
Your regional preference
Analytics starts without a consent popup in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and recognized Canadian provinces and territories other than Quebec. A visible “Analytics on · preferences” control lets you turn it off. In other regions, including Europe, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Quebec, we ask before loading Google Analytics. We also ask when location cannot be determined or the regional check fails.
The regional check uses approximate country and province information supplied by our hosting provider, Cloudflare. A VPN or proxy can affect this result. An explicit choice is remembered on this browser for 180 days. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track turn analytics off everywhere.
Change your choice
Use the Analytics preferences control on any public page to allow or decline analytics. Declining stops collection and clears Google Analytics cookies on this domain. Your choice applies to this browser; you can change it at any time.
What we exclude
We do not install website analytics on CRM workspaces, administrator pages, sign-in, registration or password recovery pages. Public page measurements exclude URL query strings and fragments; referring URLs are reduced to their origin. We do not send calculator inputs, form contents, customer records, names, email addresses, user IDs, billing details or purchase values to Google Analytics. Advertising personalization, Google signals and automatic enhanced measurement are disabled.
